Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SiteAgent platform ("Service") operated by Crouch End Media Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By using SiteAgent, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

• Platform — The SiteAgent web application, APIs, and related services.
• Client Site — Any Astro-based website created, managed, or hosted through SiteAgent.
• Tokens — Units of AI usage consumed when SiteAgent processes requests.
• Content — Text, images, code, and other materials generated or uploaded via the Platform.

To use SiteAgent, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

SiteAgent is an AI-powered website management platform. We provide tools to create, edit, audit, and publish Astro-based websites through a conversational interface. The Service includes core skills (Health, Content, Publish) and optional premium plugins.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

SiteAgent operates on a token-based subscription model. Your plan determines your monthly token allowance and available features. Subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically unless cancelled.

• You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect on your next billing date.
• If you exceed your token allowance, AI features will pause until your next billing period or until you upgrade.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of a charge to discuss.
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing with 30 days' notice.

You retain full ownership of all content you create, upload, or generate through SiteAgent. This includes your website files, images, copy, and configuration. You also retain ownership of your GitHub repository, Vercel project, and domain name.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to process, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We will never sell your content or use it for purposes unrelated to operating SiteAgent.

SiteAgent uses artificial intelligence to generate text, images, and code. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unsuitable material. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before publishing it to your live site.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated content is free from intellectual property claims. You accept responsibility for the content you choose to publish.

You agree not to use SiteAgent to:

• Create or distribute illegal, harmful, or fraudulent content.
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably determine that you have violated these terms.

You may export your site files, content, and data at any time. SiteAgent provides a one-click export feature. If you cancel your subscription, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted from our systems.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crouch End Media Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crouch End Media Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
